Keeping Indiana Education Public
Our vision at the bipartisan Indiana Coalition for Public Education is to advocate for high quality, equitable, well-funded public schools for all Indiana children – and we need your help. Join us today.
Public Schools Unite Us!
There are groups out there that love to divide us, but we’re not letting that happen. Public schools accept ALL. They are where we come together and learn to appreciate and respect our differences. Now more than ever in these divisive times, we need to show how public schools bring us together.
The Indiana Coalition for Public Education is a bipartisan non-profit dedicated to preserving and improving public education for all Indiana students. We believe all Indiana children deserve an equitable, fully-funded education system under local control of parents and citizens. To realize this future, we advocate at the statehouse, inform voters about issues affecting schools, and empower Indiana citizens to advance the public schools in their communities.
Why Public Schools?
Public schools are the bedrock of democracy and prepare our children to be citizens. Public schools serve students of all backgrounds, all income levels, and all abilities.
Every voice in the fight for public education is important — student, parent, teacher, administrator, or concerned taxpayer. Whatever time or skill you have to give, we need your help!
With more members, we’re more effective in the fight to fully fund our schools to create an equitable learning environment for all of Indiana’s students. Join us today!

Indiana lawmakers have been introducing new legislation every year to take funding away from public schools and put it into private hands through vouchers and charters. Donate to help us fight back.
